When you and I were young, Nebraska!

This is a book about Berna's life on the Nebraska prairies from the time she was about 5, 1882, until she married Gene Chrisman. She ended the story at that point as her parents did not want her to marry him. Her son, Harry Chrisman, was my adoptive father and I have two copies of the book and the proofs. Those would not be used now to reproduce the book should anyone want to. Two of Berna's grandchildren survive and several great-grandchildren. Harry wrote 14 books about the West and several are still in publication. Sheryl Jones
