A Cornish Farmer's Boy

John Tucker (1909- ) was born in St. Stephens-by-Saltash, Cornwall to William and Mary Tucker. He grew up on a couple of farms in Cornwall. In 1930 he became a partner in a food production company and continued to help on the farm. In about 1940 he had to marry his family's servant girl, Evelyn Welch. They settled on a farm in Cornwall.
