About This Book
The report contains statistical tables pertaining to Jewish students attending Harvard College, the Engineering School, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Law School, the Medical School, the Dental School, and the Graduate School of Business Administration for the period from 1900 to 1922. As the University kept no records that specifically identified students as Jewish, statisticians relied on names and other demographic information to establish the percentage of Jewish students at Harvard. They analysed academic performance, disciplinary cases, participation in athletics, membership in social clubs, financial aid and loan repayment, post-Harvard professional education and vocations. Statistics comparing Jewish and non-Jewish students are included.
