Introduction to multidimensional integrable equations

This monograph presents the principle ideas, methods, and results concerning the theory of multidimensional solitons. Special attention is paid to the 2-method and the nonlocal Riemann-Hilbert problem method to help the physicist in constructing and solving multidimensional integrable equations.
