Journey into the backwaters of the heart

Recorded oral histories of women who were partisan fighters, liaisons and supporters of Lithuania's post World War II resistance against the Soviet Union. Though in advanced years when interviewed, these women told stories that were detailed and precise. The most powerful memories were of loves lived during times of trial and the hardships of torture, exile, loss, and trauma.
