Pirkko Nukari

Pirkko Nukari (born 1943) is known for her masterly bird sculptures. Her works combine a profound relationship with nature with an extremely refined and sensitive use of bronze. In addition to sculpture, Nukari has also made watercolours and has been the editor of Taide (Art) magazine. This richly illustrated book presents the artist?s work since the 1960s.
