About This Book
This political fanzine focuses on issues of feminism, reproductive rights, pop culture, and music. Issue one contains an article on French sculptor Louise Bourgeois, a white privilege list, a discussion of Hollywood's unhealthy treatment of celebrities, and a recipe for class crème brûlée. Issue three is music-focused, and has an interview with Kianna Alarid of Tilly and the Wall, show reviews of Neko Case and Le Tigre, DIY iPod instructions, information on music websites, and playlists from the authors. In issue eleven, contributors write about travel through a feminist lens and share phorographs taken from around the world. Kerry interviews the Honey Dos and Adee Roberson of the bands The New Bloods, Nature and Mother Popcorn about about feminism, race, their influences and artistic processes. This issue includes zine reviews, and travel anecdotes about working on a farm, couch surfing, staying in hostels, a cross country roadtrip, and a night spent in a hotel that glowed purple at night. This zine contains photographs from shows and handdrawn illustrations. --Grace Li
