This new edition contains, for the first time in one volume, all the Catholic church buildings in downtown Mexico City, comprising the 83 colonial buildings, either still used as churches or those not in use for their traditional religious purpose and transformed into museums, Protestant temples or libraries. A documenting work that took more than 5 years to produce a high quality photographic inventory of one of the most important colonial legacies of the Hispanic new world.
