Contextualizing theological education

To contextualize theological education is to engage three contexts: academy, church, and society. In this new collection, faculty at Candler School of Theology reflect on particular meanings, insights, challenges, and implications of such an engagement. Their purpose is to promote deeper understanding among faculty, students, and churches, and to help shape future directions in North American graduate professional theological education. 'Contextualizing Theological Education' can be used for faculty planning as well as for introductory courses to seminary education. (Back cover).
