Escrever sobre nossos antepassados é relatar um tempo que não volta mais, que já não é o mesmo, é outro.
A gente tem a impressão que vai mergulhar numa dessas histórias de romance sertanejo que aos poucos vão construindo a memória de seus ancestrais.
Quando escrevemos sobre alguém, mesmo sobre aqueles que estão do outro lado da vida descobrimos que tudo se move pela ação do real levando-nos a entender suas vidas e os desafios que enfrentaram.
Aí percebemos que nós também somos os autores.
