Die Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

This book presents the history of the second German republic in its inter- and transnational relations. The integration of the West German state into the supranational European community has played a special role in this respect since 1950. On one hand, the federal government actively promoted this integration. On the other hand, German politics, the economy and society were strongly influenced by European structures.
