Matters of faith

After a childhood train accident claims the life of his best friend, Marshall Tobias embarks on a search for faith, delving into one tradition after another. His parents focus on his little sister Megan who suffers from severe food allergies, until, on a break from college, he brings his new girlfriend, Ada, a young woman who believes in the evils of medical intervention.
