This book contains information regarding the inception and construction of a narrow gauge train line from Castres to Murat (with a branch line to Brassac), in the Tarn region of France. The project was started c 1903 and the line was closed c 1963. The line was an amazing feat of construction, containing mountainous routes requiring the design and construction of tunnels and wonderful bridges.
