New attitudes

According to the foreword by Aart Oxenaar, director Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, architects must now adopt "a sober-minded, enterprising, inventive and self-critical attitude in redefining [their positions] within the design field and within a social and physical reality undergoing transformation." In a clear, cleanly designed format, this book presents a series of reflections to give various perspectives on this reorientation and change of attitude which has occurred within the profession in recent years.
