Shadows Across the Water

Heartbroken after her fiance, Jake Buchanan, is believed drowned, Blythe Neilsen leaves her home on Australia's longest river to escape the memories. A year later, she returns to care for her ailing father, and is supported by Jake's older brother, Nat, who now runs the family's paddle steamer business. Slowly, Blythe recaptures her love of the river, but her life is again thrown into turmoil when she comes face to face with the truth.
