Tematica conferinţei va avea în vedere surprinderea caracteristicilor şi trăsăturile specifice societăţii evidenţiate prin intermediul imaginii istorice, percepută în triplă ipostază: fie ca reprezentare fizică, fie ca reprezentare mentală sau fie ca reprezentantul celor două. Societatea şi în special omul asistă la o succesiune de transformări, care vor grăbi inevitabil apariţia ideii de modernizare. Studierea acestor schimbări regăsite în „imagini" vor contribui la cercetarea societăţilor care sau creionat atât în spaţiul naţional cât şi internaţional.

The theme of the conference will be to capture the characteristics and characteristics specific to society highlighted through the historical image, perceived in three ways: either as a physical representation, or as a mental representation or as the representative of the two. Society, and especially man, is witnessing a succession of transformations, which will inevitably hasten the emergence of the idea of modernization.
