Ritual Dance (Danse Rituale)

Ritual Dance musically portrays the preliminary dance surrounding a fictional rite of passage ceremony. The initial announcement of the dignitaries is followed by their parade past those in attendance. This is followed by the candidate's procession who is then trailed by family and relatives. All in attendance then proceed to the designated ritual area where the ceremony will take place.

The composition is written for young band at the grade 1.5 level and is approximately 2:40 in length.
