About the Author
Krishna Bhatt has been living in Kathmandu since 1986 and has a wife and two sons. During these years the country has undergone profound political changes and there has been a great social-upheaval around. All these made him think deeply about matters and relate the changes to the earlier times and try to find an explanation for what is happening. Even earlier, before he came to Kathmandu, the life in a small bordering Indian-town and a few bigger ones in the vicinity, where he was educated to get a graduate degree in Biology and Chemistry, the life appeared tricky; while political violence kept on shocking one episodically. It is a relief that somehow the life continued for most, in spite of the stultifying attitudes that keep on persisting among every section, save for a few exceptions.
