Woman and Her Saviour in Persia

This is an account of some missionaries who start a school for girls among the Nestorian (Church of the East) people in Persia in the mid-19th century. Education for women was completely unknown prior to the missionaries' arrival. Descriptions of this little-known region are included. Overall, a very encouraging, uplifting book in an exotic setting.
