Hemliga förbindelser

The DC-3 was assigned by the National Defence Radio Establishment to monitor a large Soviet naval exercise on June 13, 1952. A few hours after take-off, the aircraft was shot down by a Soviet fighter aircraft east of Gotska Sandön. The aircraft was salvaged between 2003 and 2005, and in 2007 the Swedish Armed Forces released the accident report. The DC-3 was piloted by the author's father.
