About This Book

This book has been in my hands since I was 10 years old (I'm now 51) and it has been one that I turn to again and again. It is not for the fainthearted. You must be ready to really sit down and read this book, to feel as if you have had your finger cut off from the bite of a rattlesnake, or that you love someone so much that you can just die without them...literally.
I was raised an only child with my grandmother who was aged and she didn't have the energy to entertain me..and so my books did. I was not blessed enough to go to college...but my books were my educators. This one taught me the worth of self, forgiveness, Gods' grace and pure love...I still have it on my shelf...pure black with a gold worn away square that carries the title and the author. I will probably pass away and no one will love it as I do..but nevertheless....it was a road that led me to read and read and read.....
