When a little Douglas fir tree who loves Christmas more than anyone hears a TV newscast announce the search for the most famous Christmas tree, he knows he is meant to be that tree. With his friends Maisie the palm tree and Gene the weed, he embarks on a road trip adventure to make his dream come true. Along the way, they attract the attention of a villainous Christmas-loathing cactus named Pete.
