In 1798, Rev. Pitt Clarke (1763-1835) and Rebecca Jones (1763-1811) were married. They had three children, Abby, William and John. In 1912, Pitt married Maria Jones Simpson (1785-1866). They had three sons. Abby/Abigail married her cousin, John Jones Stimson in 1828. Descendants have scattered throughout eastern United States.
