Fred Borsch (a theologian and an Episcopal bishop) invests his character with a pastor's gifts for empathy and attentive listening. It's still Marc's life, but under Hal's influence, it becomes a wonderful one. Marc's most delicate task is remaining in touch with Hal's family.
