This modern translation of Klavierschule provides great details on keyboard performance and pedagogy in the latter half of the eighteenth century. The original author, Daniel Gottlob Türk, was a composer, organist, and music professor during the Classical Period, serving as the second university music director in Germany. Klavierschule is Türk's most notable contribution to the classical music canon.
