Making party democracy in Greece

Focusing on the formative 1974-81 period, it analyses the 'making' of this democracy through the differing logics of its newly emergent parties, the antithesis between charismatic leadership and bureaucratic party organization, the persistence of clientelist practice and the impact of populist discourse.
