Calendar of the papers of General Joseph Palmer, 1716-1788, with a biographical sketch, genealogy, and bibliography

Joseph Palmer (1716-1788) married Mary Cranch, and lived in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was active in the military activities of Suffolk County, and later served as a Brigadier-General in the Revolutionary War. After the war, the family moved to Charleston and then Roxbury, Massachusetts.
