National nursing home survey, 1985

Inlcudes data on nursing and related care facilities, the services provided, the residents, discharges and staff. Care is examined from both the perspective of the recipient and the provider of services. Information about patients includes basic demographic characteristics, health status, services received, and, for discharges, the outcome of care. Facility-level data include size, ownership, Medicare/Medicaid certification, occupancy rate, and days of care provided.
