Names of people who lived in the District South of French Broad & Holston who had surveys done to obtained land grants from the State of Tennessee between 1806 and 1812. Each abstract contains the person for whom the survey was made, number of acres, location of land, neighbors, entry number, date of entry, date of survey, and chain carriers, usually family members or neighbors who assisted the surveyor.
