Definition and measurement of trade distortion for the fishing industry

This paper addresses the question of how to measure the trade- distorting effect of either government intervention or lack of government intervention in the case of the fishing industry, and highlights the importance of the management of the fishing resources for trade in both fishing products and fishing effort.
