In 1973 A History of Fundamentalism in America was published. Many events and changes have taken place since that time. It is clear that an update is needed in the way of a revision or a supplement in order to give some coverage to those men and movements within and without Fundamentalism which have had significant bearing on that American phenomenon which has taken a consistent stand on the affirmations and attitudes of the Bible. It will take a great deal of time to assess properly their importance to the men and institutions which carry the banner of Fundamentalism. This study has been made as a contribution to that end. - Preface.
