Salón Nacional de Pintura

This 3rd edition of the Salón Nacional de Pintura follows as its antecessors the objective of offering an opportunity to expose artworks that artistically express the culture and traditions of Argentina. The event includes the artists from the different regions and provinces where the 3 main prizes will become part of the acquired holdings of the Pinacoteca del Banco (Bank's Painting Museum). Prizes awarded were: 1st prizes for Nicolás Menza (Buenos Aires province), 2nd prize: Carlos Raffo (Santa fe) and 3rd prize for Jorge Alejandro Abt (Tierra del Fuego) with Jury Mentions for: Roberto Koch (Tucumn), Marcelo Lazarte (Tucumán), Alberto Mathot (Misiones), Gabriela Pertovt (Santa Fe) and Mara Carolina Porral (Santa Fe). After this edition the event will be a Biennal.
