Integrated social policy

Most countries in the ESCWA region regard social policy as essential for achieving balanced human and economic development. They emphasize public responsibility for the common good and strive to reconcile divese needs across all parts of society agains scarce resources. This report, building on the previous two, lays out a conceptual approach to integrated social policy in the region, and concludes that cross-sectoral partnerships, equitable allocation of resources and inclusive growth are critical challenges.--Publisher's description
