Statistics for 1966 on Blindness in the Model Reporting Area

The report classifies MRA's registered blind population on December 31, 1965, additions and removals in 1966, and registered population on December 31, 1966. Presents data on additions in 1962, 1963, 1964, and 1965 and the registered population on December 31 of those years. Model Reporting Area members in 1966: Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia. Modeling reporting through the cooperation of the Biometrics Branch of the National Institute of Neurological Disease and Blindness, National Society for the Prevention of Blindness, the Foundation for the Blind, and the Division of Chronic Diseases of the Public Health Service.
