One day she is on the beach and a large, masked man grabs her and attempts to abduct her. She is rescued by an older couple and their Great Dane. They call the police and Meg and the couple describe the man and the attack. Meg and the police detective, Glen Gates, set out to uncover the identity of the attacker and on the way, also discover a mutual attraction.
