Sūpā Taiheiki

A couple who came to Japan to the Edo era on a time machine left their baby by an accident. To protect their child, the couple gave him a book of science. With the help from the book, the child invents many machines such as a tank and an airplane and defends the town of Edo from the Western aggressors.
