About This Book
During April 1980, the Tennessee Valley Authority conducted an inter-regional long-range transport (LRT) field intensive using airborne and ground-based sampling. Data was gathered on 15 days over a wide region of the southeastern U.S. from the Ohio River Valley to the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Data of five of these days are of particular interest because Lagrangian or near Lagrangian measurements were made. For each of the five events, synoptic meteorology, air parcel and/or tetroon trajectories, source regions, and pollutant concentrations and flux were analyzed and are presented herein.
