Basis of rural political leadership

Examines the bases of rural political leadership including the historical perspectives. The book examines the factors of the emergence, sustenance and change in rural political leadership with a new approach namely "Samudaibodh Approach (People's Perception Approach)". In the process, it examines the level and agents of political socialization among rural people of Bihar, India. It finds 'benefit orientation' (personal or common) as the most effective factors for accepting or rejecting or changing a political leader.
