Refers to Darwin family of Great Britain from 1500's to late 1800's. Fi rst part is facsimile of H. Farnham Burke's "Pedigrees of the family of Darwin" which was first published in 1888. Second part includes commentary which adds lineage of females and gives social and geo- graphical background.
