About This Book
In the 1890's historian Andrew Jenson conducted oral interviews with people who had been involved with the Mountain Meadows Massacre, and a decade or so later, attorney David H. Morris collected sworn statements from other individuals. Images of these original documents, housed in the Church History Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, are accompanied by typed transcriptions. Brief biographical sketches introduce the individuals who were interviewed, gave affidavits, or wrote letters that appear in the collections.
