I knew the thought of enjoying the remnants of our summer was far-fetched, but at this point the Dark Lord has gone too far.

With Jay’s mom in his clutches and being used against us, I have no choice but to get past the latest betrayal that was far too close to home, and come up with a plan.

With my remaining bonded Knights by my side, we make a decision—a hard one.

In order to make headway, we need Parker.

Using his skills, we search for the army the Dark Lord has been building, and it results in nothing but more questions. Like sand falling through our fingers, there’s nothing to give us direction.

Each new battle we face is tougher and worse than the last, but we have to stick together no matter how my heart hurts.

Time is running out, loyalties are being tested, and I can’t help but think, are we strong enough to defeat the Prince of Hell?
