Between 2008 and 2012, Eva Bracamonte Fefer was held in the criminal annex of Women of Chorrillos de Máxima Seguridad, unjustly accused of being the intellectual author of the murder of her mother, businesswoman Myriam Fefer. During the almost four years that her confinement lasted, she knew a completely different world, a tiny, brutal and overwhelming world, but one also warm and full of hopes in which she learned to be strong and to value small pleasures. In this testimonial book, the author presents a series of brief daily anecdotes where she tells us firsthand what life is like when we are deprived of our freedom.
