This study, which focuses on the rich class in the Ottoman provinces, is a sociological study of history which refers to individuals within the specified social group. This study, which was co-produced by a historian and a sociologist, aims at examining the historical background of the classical Ottoman period and how it is formed within the framework of economic and cultural capital in the Ottoman society.
