Ryōsuke Izawa is vice president of the Izawa Corporation. His wife Akiko, ten years his senior and president of the company, meets with an accident on the night of her birthday and falls into a coma. With no personal connections in the company aside from his wife, Ryōsuke is soon left on his own and flees Niigata for Tokyo. The night before leaving that city for a new post managing a resort condominium in Hokkaido, he meets Saki Shirakawa at the Grand Cabaret in Ginza. She has just that day been fired from the talent agency to which she has belonged for ten years. Once in Hokkaido, Ryōsuke is left speechless at the condition of the abandoned condos. And then Saki appears, having followed him there...
