About This Book

Animals and nature are the most important sources of Anne Kampmann (1946), who is also interested in our community of shared destiny. Kampmann works intuitively and explores materials and the labyrinth of thoughts, although when she starts working on a piece she does not know where it will end up or what it will be about. Her motivation is to follow the figures and stories that emerge. At Kunstbanken she exhibits new paintings and large-scale graphic prints. These powerful works with a huge range of colours and complex motifs are characteristic of her extensive production. Anne Kampmann was born in Denmark and moved to Hamar in 1972. Since her debut in 1982 she has shown more than 60 solo exhibitions and participated in over 40 group exhibitions and 100 collective exhibitions in Norway and abroad. Exhibition: Kunstbanken Hedmark Kunstsenter, Hamar, Norway (16.01.-07.03.2021).
