ৰাষ্ট্রীয় শৈক্ষিক গৱেষণা আৰু প্রশিক্ষণ পৰিষদে যুগুতাই উলিওৱা ইংৰাজী মাধ্যমৰ দ্বাদশ শ্রেণীৰ জীৱ বিজ্ঞানৰ পুথিখনৰ লগত সংগতি ৰাখি 2010 – 2011 চনৰ পৰা অসম উচ্চতৰ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা পৰিষদে সর্বভাৰতীয় পাঠ্যক্ৰমৰ লগত সহ অৱস্থান হোৱাকৈ পাঠ্যক্ৰমৰ সংশোধন কৰিছে। সর্বভাৰতীয় পাঠ্যক্ৰমৰ আর্হিত জীৱ বিজ্ঞানৰ ইংৰাজী মাধ্যমৰ কিতাপৰ বিশেষ অভাৱ পৰিলক্ষিত হোৱা নাই যদিও জীৱ বিজ্ঞানৰ অসমীয়া মাধ্যমৰ তথ্য সম্বলিত উল্লিখিত কিতাপৰ যথেষ্ট অভাৱ। সেয়েহে অসমীয়া মাধ্যমত অধ্যয়নৰত ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক সকাহ দিয়াৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এই পাঠ্য পুথিখন যুগুতাই উলিওৱা হৈছে। কিতাপখনত অসম উচ্চতৰ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা পৰিষদৰ পাঠ্যক্ৰমৰ মূল বিষয়বস্তুসমূহ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক বোধগম্য কৰাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে সহজ, সৰল, সাৱলিল আৰু কিছু বহলাই লিখাৰ প্রয়াস কৰা হৈছে। কিতাপখনৰ বিষয়বস্তুৰ ধাৰাবাহিকতা বজাই ৰাখিবলৈ মাজে মাজে কিছু অতিৰিক্ত তথ্যও সন্নিবিষ্ট কৰা হৈছে যাতে ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ জ্ঞানৰ পৰিধি বিস্তাৰ হয়।
আঞ্চলিক ভাষাত বিজ্ঞান চর্চ্চাৰ ডাঙৰ সমস্যাটো হ’ল উপযুক্ত বৈজ্ঞানিক পৰিভাষা। এই ক্ষেত্ৰত গুৱাহাটী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ ‘অসমীয়া বৈজ্ঞানিক পৰিভাষা’ নামৰ পুথিখনৰ সহায় লোৱা হৈছে। কিছু ক্ষেত্ৰত আসোঁৱাহপূর্ণ অসমীয়া প্রতিশব্দৰ পৰিবর্তে ইংৰাজী শব্দকেই পোনপতীয়াকৈ ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হৈছে।
বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ক কিতাপ এখন যুগুতাই উলিওৱাত কিছু ভূল-ভ্রান্তি, আসোঁৱাহ আদি থাকি যোৱাতো স্বাভাৱিক। সেয়েহে সন্মানীয় শিক্ষক, ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰী আৰু শিক্ষানুৰাগী ব্যক্তিসকলে আসোঁৱাহ দেখিলে আমাক দৃষ্টিগোচৰ কৰিবলৈ আমি অনুৰোধ জনালো যাতে পৰবর্তী সংস্কৰণত আসোঁৱাহসমূহ আঁতৰব পাৰো। পুথিখনৰ দ্বাৰা ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকল উপকৃত হ’লেহে আমাৰ শ্রম সার্থক হ’ব।
সদৌ শেষত পুথিখন প্রকাশৰ দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ কৰাৰ বাবে “কল্যানী প্রকাশন”ৰ স্বত্বাধীকাৰী আৰু কর্মচাৰীবৃন্দৰ লগতে শুভকাংক্ষীসকললৈ আমাৰ ফালৰ পৰা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকাৰ কৰি আন্তৰিক ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন কৰিলো।
