London to down under

The Archer family originated in England. David Archer was born in Scotland and immigrated to Australia where he became a rancher and businessman. He married Susan Stubbs and they were the parents of eight children. One of their children was John Archer (1861-1953) who etablished a large station or, ranch, at Torsdale. In 1898 he married Helen Brenda Nott and they were the parents of four children. Descendants live in Australia.
