Marietta

She was a woman who feared nothing. Her mind told her to forget any ideas she harboured of covertly following her beloved Filippo on his dangerous mission... but her heart told her otherwise. And so Marietta concocted an ingenious and outrageous scheme. She would disguise herself as a boy and join a band of itinerant actors whose destination was the same as Filippo's. The plan seemed simple enough at first. Marietta believed it would involve no danger to herself...and certainly none to her beloved. But events soon proved her woefully wrong!
