Narrative of a Journey to Guatemala, in Central America, In 1838

A narrative of the U.S. commissioned travel of George Washington Montgomery in Central America. Starting from his embarkment from New York to Havana, Cuba on the 4th of April, 1838 up to his return to Washington D.C. on the 1st of September, 1838. It describes the various states of Central America and some of their towns, villages, and cities along with descriptions of the people of those places.
