The book presents a scholarly analysis of the results of on-site socio-anthropological studies in small towns of Russia which were held in 2009-2011 by teachers and students of the Social Anthropology Research and Education Centre, Russian State University for the Humanities as well as researchers of the Miklukho-Maklay Ethnology and Anthropology Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences.
